‘Sometimes the shadows & reflections lie’

As the term of the present office bearers of IRIA Coimbatore Subchapter draws to an end, wish to mention a few things which we were able to reach over the past 2 years. 

Totally 26 academic programs, namely 12 Subchapter meetings, 6 FOSTER (Fetal Radiology) programs, 8 REACH programs and 1 RAKSHA program were conducted in 2023 & 2024. 

It is only with the immense support of the HODs, Radiologists & Chairmen of various hospitals that we were able to achieve this -- KMCH, PSG, Ganga, Ramakrishna, GKNM, GEM, ESI, KG, CMCH (IMA, Darza & ITC) and Tiruppur region were hosts during the past 2 years.

Many thanks to Dr Sumathi & Dr Subhashree for spearheading the Fetal Radiology program - FOSTER.

A huge thanks to Dr Arun Ramraj for the uninterrupted 50 week Coimbatore Subchapter Quiz.

Special thanks to Dr N. Senthil Kumar for the Raksha Program.

Thanks to all the Consultants who delivered invited talks and engaged in classroom teaching program (REACH).

Thanks a lot to the TNPY-IRIA office bearers for 2023-24, Dr Flora, Dr Babu Peter & Dr Chinnadurai Abdullah for the support and to the founder of the first IRIA Subchapter in India & its perennial patron, Dr Anbarasu for his enthusiastic encouragement !

Coimbatore is also the only Subchapter in India to have a dedicated and active website. We have chronicled all the subchapter events of the last 2 years, showcased achievements (Achievers Arena), conducted regular Weekend Web Quiz, and published light hearted & serious writings (Insights), besides making it a portal for PGs to upload their case titles & presentations.

Once again the Office Bearers thank each one of you for the whole hearted support and yes.... sometimes the shadows & reflections do lie! Indeed everything was possible because of 'WE and not ME'
